Urban Heat Islands are known to be disastrous to large swaths of people. They continously have a cyclicality that results in reoccuring waves of heat, that are relentless. From the higher costs for air conditioning to the greater risk of heatstroke and death, what exactly causes these things and where do they occur the most frequently?
